Scam Alert: Intellectual Property (IP) Notices

We are aware of recent scam activity targeting business owners in Australia, including here in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.

These scams often involve emails or letters claiming that your business name, brand or domain is infringing on a registered trade mark. The communication may appear official and may request urgent payment or action.

A Rochford Solicitors client received one of these notices and, importantly, contacted us before responding.

This is the right approach.
