We are thrilled to announce the official opening of Rochford Solicitors’ new office, and it is a pleasure to share this exciting milestone with our clients, colleagues, and community.

This new space represents more than just bricks and mortar—it reflects our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional legal services and strengthening the relationships we have built across the Toowoomba region. It is a place where professionalism, care, and community spirit come together.

Toowoomba and its surrounding areas hold a very special place in my heart. Having grown up here, attended school, and built much of my career in this vibrant community, I have deep roots in the region. This marks the third time I have returned to Toowoomba, and each return feels like coming home. With a family history stretching across generations in the area, it is an honour to continue contributing to our region—not only through Rochford Solicitors but also as a volunteer director of TASC National Limited, a community legal and justice service.

My journey as a solicitor spans more than 20 years, and it began right here in Toowoomba as a conveyancing clerk. After completing my law degree, I became an in-house solicitor with one of the big four banks in Melbourne, gaining invaluable experience across banking, asset finance, project management, and commercial law. Later, my role with Toowoomba Regional Council further deepened my connection to local legal needs and governance.

I would also like to acknowledge the legacy of Barry Atkins, whose firm I had the privilege of taking over following his untimely passing. Barry was a larger-than-life figure, deeply missed by his family, friends, and clients. I am honoured to continue his work and serve his clients.
